Zoey has been performing and writing music for over 20 years. Through the years, she has seemlessly incorporated many styles and influences into her music and has developed a strong individuality to her playing and composing.

Exactly when the dream of recording a collaborative record/CD with her Mom started, she couldn't even tell you. It probably was in the planning stages before she was born. Her instrumental prowess includes her main axe, the piano, followed by guitar, drums and percussion. She is a strong vocalist as well.  She and her mother, Diana (Dee), have been recording and performing together for many years.

Their studio and label, Rings True Studios™ & Rings True Records™(ASCAP), took 10 years to build. It started by adding a piece of equipment here and one there, as they could afford it. It went from 4-track cassette to 8-track open reel, to finally 24-track analog, and currently 64 track digital.

Although she loves to perform, Zoey will tell you that her main love is composing and producing music of all styles, from Jazz, to Latin, to World, to Funk, to Folk, to Rock and R&B, to Country, to Classical and Orchestral. In her own words, " The recording process has heightened my appreciation of all styles of music and the dedication that all artists have to their craft and the comittment it takes to perfect it."

Through paying careful attention to details and learning at every opportunity from other world-class professionals, Zoey has gained an arsenal of production skills. She has become an excellent audio engineer, a Pro Tools expert, and has inevitably gained invaluable soldering and electronic expertise. She has been responsible for building patch cords, patch bays and maintaining most of the equipment for Rings True Studios. Her combined musical and technical skills make her a powerhouse entity for anyone looking for world-class music/audio to fill any and all of their production needs.
